Many students go on to work in digital media, web design, or SEO straight after graduating, while others continue to develop their creative and analytical skills if they gain admission to our highly competitive Honours programme. Others with an interest in advertising and branding choose to develop their understanding of Marketing or Entrepreneurship through Diploma courses offered by the UCT Commerce Faculty and other tertiary institutions. For those with a flair for programming, the programme in Interactive Media is an excellent foundation that can lead to work as a developer or admission to a course which will qualify them in Information Technology. Students interested in Information Technology but who do not have a strong interest in Mathematics, can complete the Programme in Interactive Media, an Honours in Media Theory and Practice, and follow it up with the Masters in Information Technology offered by the Computer Science department at UCT.
